hi i'm Lindsay i'm currently in the 7th grade and although i just got my pet jumping beans i've already fell in love with them! they are so funny and i absolutely love watching them bounce around!!!!! I named them the first day i got them ( squirt, tiger, rainbow, lenerd, and doris.) they put a smile on mine and family and friends face, all i can say is I LOVE MY BEANS!!!!!

The Beans are BACK! I get so excited this time of year, it has been since last April and I get to missing the sound of little jumpers around the house! This year's crop looks expecially good, they are fresh from Mexico and have a great color and "jump." We are looking forward to an especially good year, and we look forward to hearing from YOU! Waiting for the New Beans to Arrive.

Hi Folks, we are currently out of stock of mexican jumping beans, but will soon be looking forward to the 2008 season which will start in late July or early August, barring no complications due to Mother Nature.
Beans may be available in March IF an early crop is harvested, if it is, you can be sure we will have them and you will be able to order them.
I am really amazed at how many people found us this past year. Keep those e-mail coming, I love to hear about your experiences and to get those bean pictures. Thanks so much for your wonderful support.

Travelin' Beans

My boyfriend and I love pets, but travel a lot. Recently an amazing friend of ours gave us 5 beans as a present. Those beans (Chewy, Michael, Brian, Walter and Shaun Jr. – all boys) have changed our lives tremendously. Glad to hear it is ok to keep them in a drawer at night especially. Hi Folks, we had a strange labor day this year. Early in the morning I awoke to find my e-mail box overflowing with new orders, the result of a TV show about Jumping Beans. Well, within about 3 days we sold out, with no new beans in sight, it was a great day, and a bad day all at the same time.

Fortunately, we have located some fresh new beans available for you. We should be stocked up fine until Christmas. If you tried to order before but could not, we are sorry, but please try again, we have lots of fresh beans looking for a new home!

You sent my husband and I a whole deluxe bean pack, and totally made our YEAR? Well by the time I finally got home, the beans didn't appear to be alive anymore, and I was DEVISTATED. Today my hubby and I were cleaning the house, and I said "I just don't get it. They HAVE to be alive!" and I sat down on the couch, held them in my hands, pouted, and gave them a little shake. My husband looked at me pittifully and said "Aww, baby, you can order some more! It's ok!" but I just didn't believe that they'd die THAT fast. I pouted at my husband again, ready to admit defeat and toss my precious beans into the garbage, when one wiggled! I squealed and held out my hand to my husband, who was convinced that I was seeing things. But then another popped! AND ANOTHER! My husband went and grabbed another tin of 10 and held them, but his wouldn't jump. I said "I think I have the magic touch...lemme see 'em." and sure enough, they started hopping around too! Eventually, we had all 30 beans hopping about, and I was just THRILLED! I knew they just needed a little lovin'! :)
Anyway, we put them near a table lamp, and they got REALLY active! We thought they were so cute, that we took a little video of them. Feel free to post it on your website, watch it and toss it, or whatever you want. Thanks again- we love our beans SO much!

Their names are Herman, Go-Go, Simeon, and Thorton. We found the site and were estatic because until now our beans have not had a bath in two months. We'll be checkin regularly.

Yes Folks, I don't know how it happend, but we are so happy to announce the return of the beans. Yours truly has been hard at work securing the freshest, friskiest, happiest beans we could find, and it sure has paid off. Thanks to all the folks who left their names to be notified, and thanks also for all the wonderful mail. Look forward to a few small changes as well as a few big surprises we will spring on our web page soon.

Really Nice Mail

I received my beans the other day and I'm really enjoying them! I had purchased them for my son, but he tried to eat one so I had to take them away from him. Now they have become my desktop companions as I work long hours at the computer. They seem to have a strange therapeutic effect, relaxing and fun to watch while taking a break.

Many have asked us about the shortage of Jumping Beans. We have been shipped our very last order of jumping beans which are being used to fill orders. If you have been thinking about purchasing beans, now is the time. We will post a notice on the main site if we think there will be any problems filling any orders, but for now, we are in good supply.

Many thanks to our customers in the U.S. and Canada who have ordered. We get so many e-mails telling us they are thrilled with their kits.

When we run out of jumping beans for the year, we will be concentrating on improving our site and finding new things to do with the beans. If you have any thoughts, please let us know. We love to get your e-mails.

No, it's not my face, but yes, it is my voice . . .

I have been trying to think of something to spice up the front page of the website mypetbeans.com, and found SitePal.

What do you think? I am wondering if it is a good thing or not so great, and would really like to get your feedback. My main concern is people waiting too long for the site to load, I have a fast broadband connection and would like to hear back from someone with a dial-up or a much slower computer.

It was fun, and if it works out, I may be able to add more inside the site.
If it doesn't, it will come off. That's why I would like to hear from you!

I must have way too much time on my hands to be doing this, but I enjoyed it.

It's been exactly four months since myPetBeans.com came on-line, and I still can not believe how sucessful it has been. We have met so many folks from all across the country who want to share this fantastic little memory from their childhood with their own children. We have also met a bunch of kids who somehow stumble onto our site. We love answering your questions and love sharing stories and the shear "wonder" of it all. Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!

When Beans Go Bad

On the rare occasion the beans don't make it in the mail, we always ship new ones right away, and you don't have to send us the "proof." Recently, we received this nice letter from H.I. whose Jumping Beans were not performing.

A Pet You Cannot See

I told my daughter's class (to whom I am teaching Spanish) that as part of our last day, Tuesday, I would bring them a "pet that moved and jumped but that you cannot see." They are all so excited that one girl even offered to give me three dollars if I would reveal the secret and tell her what it was. Another girl offered me three million dollars; I would've told her, but I didn't think she could come up with the money! : ) So, the kids may be jumping like Mexican jumping beans if they don't arrive by the first of the week, but they can wait another week if need be.
